Ninety-four inches off a six-by-ten-inch PVC form at 420 V. He also wrote the best notes anybody has on what the weather does to the shape of an arc. In 2025 he turned up in Anders Mikkelsen’s own thread, having built the published APWM driver straight from its schematic. He posted scope captures of the ramp, the START comparator and the switching spike he spent days chasing. He described his first current transformer down to the winding: ten turns of 0.5 mm three-layer insulated wire on a 2.5 cm manganese-zinc ferrite core. It shows that a stranger can build one of these designs from the published files alone.
