“Its about time to scale up my mini SSTC design to something large and scary.” The interrupted SSTC: the mini's driver, a full bridge of 48N50s, 20 in sparks. Ward's own DRSSTC-1 page says it “evolved from the ISSTC work I had been doing at the time”. This is where the SSTC family hands off to the DRSSTC one.
