A one-transistor SSTC, kept deliberately small and published in full. The driver is an NE555P free-running on two 10 kΩ trimmers, an antenna picking up the secondary through a pair of 1N60P germanium diodes and a 100 kΩ bleeder, and a single TC4420CPA gate driver into one IRFP460. There is no bridge, no gate-drive transformer and no interrupter board. An LM7812 feeds it, two 470 µF cans hold the rail up, and feedback and output come out on two-pin headers.
