A second independent Japanese designer, running yoshikiyo.com under the self-deprecating banner “適当すぎるものづくり” (roughly, ‘rather too casual making’). It is his own full-bridge design, months in development. It has a MIDI-decoding controller that also measures current and a 2000-turn secondary on PVC pipe, and a full circuit-diagram PDF is published alongside the build log. First light showed unwanted discharge from primary to secondary. He rebuilt the primary as a flat spiral instead of a solenoid and wrote it up as it happened. Compact: 300×150×300 mm, 17 kg, 30 cm sparks confirmed at 30 V input during testing.
