A deliberate re-draw of a Ward driver by another builder. Its author says that after using a few UD2.9s (and having one fail) he wanted “just a simpler and smaller UD2.9 with more modern parts”, and that he called it 2.11 because “all the other UD2.x pulse skip drivers have taken the other names”. The sheet credits three people and Ward: drawn by Maddie Beasley, contributions from David Knierim and Michael Turner, and “UD2 by Steve Ward”. Revision B, 18 December 2024, KiCad 8, one A3 sheet laid out in labelled blocks. POWER is an AP63200WU buck ahead of an NCP1117. INTERRUPTER is an HFBR-2412 fibre receiver into an SN74LVC2G14. A FAULT/STOP chain ORs the external fault, the overcurrent trip and the undervoltage flag into one stop signal. UVLO is on a TL331 with its own set pot, and ZCD/OCD on a pair of MCP6562 comparators. GDT LOGIC/DRIVE uses 74ABT74D flip-flops into a UCC27524 driver, with an SQJ500AEP output stage boosted by MMBT3904s. The schematic PDF, the KiCad project and a full Gerber set are all published.
