His own words: “some of my own ideas of what I thought should work,” aiming for 10-12 ft out of a compact resonator. Primary an 18 in coil of 12.8 turns in 3/8 in copper tube, “the most rigid primary I have ever made”; secondary 12.75×19 in on sonotube; tertiary around 150 mH; a 0.36 μF 10 kV MMC tank cap; overall coupling targeted around k=0.25 across all three coils. First light on 30 Apr 2005 reached about 9 ft. The page’s “driver” photos show the coil assembly, not the electronics. No board photo was found, so that slot is left blank.
